My parents live in Peru they were threatened and extorted death by criminals , I live in Canada as skilled worker, now they are visiting Canada , but I would not like to they live longer in Peru , as they have been threatened with death. I know nothing about how to ask for asylum for them, or any legal counselor who can help them, if it's in Spanish would be better, thanks friends.

There are really two options for them to apply for asylum;

1) They need to obtain TRV (tourist visas) for Canada and claim asylum once they arrive in Canada.

2) If the cannot obtain TRVs, they will first need to leave Peru and then once living outside of Peru, be recognized as refugees by UNHCR or a similar referral organization.

To be approved for asylum, they will need to provide hard evidence that their lives are in danger if they remain in Peru.

Hi,

OP already indicated parents already visiting Canada, if this is the case go seek lawyer advice, book an appointment and spend the money for answers. Try visiting the Catholic Centre for Immigrants, they provide free consultation, I know there is one in Ottawa, so you can check in your local area. But also seek some layers who actually speak Spanish. There should be a Spanish community you could ask.
So they could apply for refugee from within Canada is they’re already here, if not as Scylla suggested they have to obtain TRV or apply or leave home country.

Good luck
