Hi Everyone:
I am in need of some serious suggestions and assistance regarding a refusal for my parent’s visiting visa for Canada from CIC Islamabad. The reasons for the rejection according to what they received include:
1) Travel history
2) family ties in Canada and coutry of residence
3)personal assets and financial status
My parents wanted to visit Canada this coming June because my younger brother is graduating from a university in Newfoundland our parents were hoping to attend it. Their stay in Canada was mention for 10 days.
My father owns a business in Pakistan and has around $30000 in his account to visit Canada, while my mother is a housewife. They were unable to attach their property documents to their application because the application center in Lahore refused to attach their document papers, stating that their Canadian embassy does not require property documents.
My older and youngest brother live with my parents, I am 2nd older son, who came to Canada on student visa almost three years ago. Later I obtained my work permit and just recently got my permanent residence status for Canada. I am married to a Canadian citizen, have a 1 year old daughter and soon expecting another baby next month. Information regarding me, my status here in Canada and my family was not included in my parents SOP.
On the Statement of Purpose, my parents did not mention that they would like to visit me, but just my younger brother who is graduating. But if they did mention that they would be visiting me and my family as well, would this be more beneficial for them to get visiting visa? However, if they do try applying to visit Canada again by mentioning in their SOP about visiting me, will there be any negative effects (since they did not mention it the first time they applied)?
Now my question are:
- how could prove their travel history, because they did not visit any other country beside their home country?
- how we can prove their home ties ?
Would it be better if they mention that they want visit other family members in Canada as they did not mention 1st time ?
Is it good to attach return tickets with application ? and tell their day by day plan stating that 1st they will visit me for some days and then they will go newfoundland to attend my brothers graduation.? And go back to their home country?
This time they would apply online so they can attach all property documents to show their ties in home country.
