Hi,

I'm now collecting the supporting documents and during filling the additional family form I noticed that my father name in his passport is different in two letters from His name in my passport and I noticed the same for my mother.

I think that’s because when I got my passport the authorities didn’t ask me for my father's name in English to use it in my passport so my father name now is like this
(Bakar in my passport and Bager in my father's passport)

Do I have to send the visa office a cover letter describing this situation?
And if yes do they will accept this different in my parent names
I did not include my parent in my application.?

Another thing is in this form ( Additional Family information IMM 5406) do we can use the rectangular for the parents name to write their names in two languages ( English and my native language )?

Thanx,

Small differences in name spellings, in particular for those people who are not part of the application (like your parents) are not a big problem. You can write their names as they appear on your passport to avoid any confusion.

You can either write their names in native language in the same box on the Additional Family Information form, or you can write it on a separate addendum page.

I don't think there is any problem in the spelling of your father's name. You can even prepare an affidavit from any Notary Public in your area stating the fact about the name. The notary will guide you accordingly.

On form 5406 you can write the names in your local language under the english. If space not sufficient attach an additional plain sheet for that purpose.
