Hi all, I applied my application to get study permit on May 22nd under SDS online in Vietnam and today I just get a refusal letter from CIC with these reasons:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

• Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.

• Pursuant to paragraph 220(b) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study.

I think I'm eligible for all the terms about SDS application but I failed. Anyone could give me some bits of advice about my case, please?

Do you have any dependents? Are you traveling alone or is your family accompanying you?

I understand you will go alone but are you married? If yes, have children? If not, then since you have already paid the tuition fees, have you show atleast CAD 10,000/year living cost in your bank statement?

hmmm, then I dont see any reason as to why they would refuse your application on the basis of finances. When you apply this time, write a letter of explanation and clearly indicate how much money you have, what documents you are attaching, statement showing transactions of last 4 months would be good. I hope there are no large deposits made to your acct in the recents month. Most GCMS reports will highlight this as a refusal reason. They think you dont own the money and may have borrowed it from somebody.

Did you pay for GIC of $10,000 from a designated Canadian bank? Did you pay first year tuition fees in full?
