I submitted a request to withdraw my work permit application back in January 2025. IRCC confirmed by email that a note was added to my file on January 27 to notify the responsible office (Edmonton). However, I have no news of my withdrawal. I’ve called them multiple times to see that the withdrawal request is in my file. And they always say that they see it.

When I followed up this June, IRCC again acknowledged the withdrawal, and now that’s the only note showing on my file. Even my MP’s office says that on my file I requested to withdraw on June, not the original one from January.

I’m trying to understand if the January withdrawal was ever actually processed and how to ensure IRCC follows up properly. I’m freaking out because I made some mistakes on my forms that’s why I withdrew.
