Hi there,

My mother in law has been deported from uk in 2006 due to using any british passport under her name. They kept her detention cell and deported back to Pakistan in 2006. I am permanent resident of Canada and expecting. Can she come on visit to Canada during my pregnancy? Secondly, can you please confirm she has been deported in 2006 ( its been more than 11 years now) what are her chances to get visa? Thanks

Yes - she can apply for a TRV. Make sure she mentions the deportation in her application.

None of us can tell you what the chances are that she will be approved. She should keep her trip short (2-3 weeks at most).
