hi,
i am desperately looking for help. i wanted my mom visit us canada while i was pregnant and support me for few months with the new born baby. but she was refused twice. although we have submitted all the financial documents of her, leave approval papers from her work, our invitation letter, doctors note, our financial papers stating that we will support her all expenses during her stay in canada. they said they are not saticefy with her social tie in bangladesh, not enough travel history(she had only visited to india once), and not happy the period of time she wants to stay(she applied for two months to stay with us). this is to mention that she is widow living alone there. my only brother is also living in usa.
some of our firends told us to seek help from the local MP who might help. and also we have heard so many successful story that local MPs helped a lot. But unfortunately again our MP refuses to help on this issue. they said this is totally non political issue and they cant enforce embassy with political power! now my baby is few weeks old and i have no one to support me and my new born baby. i never thought they could refuse a pregnant woman mother to visit. this is our families first grandchild and there is a lot more emotional sentiment attached here as my father isnt alive.
i am still looking for a way to apply for her for the third time. can somebody tell me what should we do now? i am really really desperate and she has no intension to stay here with us. she will certainly go back to country.
