my live in caregiver got her request for passport!!!

SoPretoria emailed her this morning requesting her passport, and she will send it to them by courier tomorrow. wow, it was a wait, but i think the member of parliament making an inquiry last week really made a difference. any idea please how long the embassy will take to return the passport to her? we are both ecstatic!

The high commission in Pretoria emailed my caregiver back earlier today...work permit has been issued, and passport is ready for pickup! We are hoping she will join us by the first week on January 2013. Both of us very excited!

Woohoo - that's awesome! We too struggled mightily to help our nanny get into the LCP, etc. and so I know how great it is when it all finally comes through. Congrats!
