Here is my current job description; please all seniors kindly advice if this is enough. I will be submitting my initial application tomorrow - NOC 1111
1. Preparing financial management reports including financial planning and budget forecasting, analyzing the current trend and providing recommendations to senior management to aid in decision-making.
2. Preparing and posting monthly accounting journal entries to various general ledger accounts following established accounting techniques and procedures.
3. Preparing and analyzing accounting schedules and reports.
4. Reviewing accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes adjusting and correcting entries as required.
5. Liaising and assisting with internal and external auditors to ensure that accurate financial information is reported and on a timely basis.
6. Analyzing and recommending modifications on company’s accounting system and procedures in order to improve work efficiency while maintaining accuracy of accounting records.
7. Coordinating with banks and other financial institutions regarding project related financial issues and seeking advice on the efficient management of company’s funds and acting as the primary contact person with regards to other bank related transactions (bank service charge, transfer of funds, payroll transfers etc.)
8. Coordinating with different government agencies to facilitate compliance to newly implemented laws and regulations related to real estate projects which can affect the company’s financial reporting. Gathering data and information for speedy processing of projects’ requirements.
9. Providing assistance to Chief Financial Officer in negotiating with financial institutions in establishing Escrow Accounts and end-user financing for all company project developments.
10. Coordinating with Escrow Trust Account Manager regarding the remittances/payments made by buyers. Monitor Main Account as well as the sub-accounts.
11. Administering the Real Estate Sales Software Application and coordinating with Real Estate Software Company for possible errors/issues encountered by users.
12. Monitoring the cost and expenditures of the company ensuring that cost and expenditures incurred are within the approved budget and any discrepancy is reported to management for proper evaluation.
13. Keeping up to date report on cash position, cash flows and bank reconciliation.
14. Coordinating with other departments (Sales Department, Legal Department, and Customer Service Department in all matters related to project developments (e.g. unit sales issues, payment collection issues, disputes with clients, etc.).
15. Maintaining fixed asset inventory as well as supplies inventory and implement control procedure for efficient monitoring and accurate reporting.
16. Verifying and checking of Weekly Advance Report submitted by employees. Ensure that expenditures are supported with documents.
17. Providing training and orientation to newly hired employees within the department.
18. Prepares payroll computation for company staff.
19. Coordinating with insurance company regarding employees’ medical insurance coverage, application and cancellation of member’s coverage.
20. Files supporting documents related to the accounting process.
