My husband submitted EE applicatoin including me as dependent in 2018. Now our application is till in progress. It is stucked with my husband's security check. So I am thinking to submit EE application for myself only. But I don't know if it is allowed to do so.
In the EE profile, there is a question:
Will your spouse or common-law partner come with you to Canada?
I answer "No".
Do you think this answer is confilict with my husband's EE application to come to Canada?
The reason I want to submit EE myself is that I cannot apply for bridge work permit as a EE dependant. My huasband went back our hometown and cannot enter Canada now. Becasue his visa application is stuck, too. His visa has been submitted for almost 200 days and it is still in progress. Now my post-graduate work permit will expire soon. I want to find a way to renew my work permit. I am thinking if I can submit EE application as principal applicatn, I can apply for bridge work permit till a decision is made.
Please share your thoughts and experience. I really appreciate it.
