She came in today through Toronto. The agent almost gave her a restricted work permit. After insisting that she had been cleared for an open one he checked on it and switched it for her. He gave her the work permit and said you are clear to work for one year. When she checked on it later she saw that he put the end date of the work permit as Nov 7th, 2015. In the "must leave Canada" bracket he got it right it says Feb 25, 2016. The work permit should be valid for one year from the day of entry right? Meaning that it should say valid until Feb 25, 2015. She got her port of entry letter in Nov 2014. That should not affect anything though. How can we get this fixed? Thanks, Mark.

I am not sure what you meant by "she got her port of entry letter in Nov. 2014".
But a procedure exists to get amendments to permits of any kind (record of landing, work permit etc.)
