I applied in NAIT for Digital Media and IT program and Computer Network Administrator for fall 2015 on April 1st, 2015. I'm on work permit and currently residing in Edmonton. I have applied as an International student and got reply after 15 days for Network Administrator that I’m on waiting list. I got worried and visited NAIT, office of registrar next week. They told me that the quota for international students is 10% only. i.e. In a class of 60 students they will only accept 6 international students . I asked them about the chances for winter 2016, and they told me that they have been accepting application since October 2014 for winter 2016 term. On April 21st, I got an email to choose career path for DMIT. I selected Application Development. Then on April 23rd I got full acceptance in DMIT program. So it took a total of 23 days to process my application.
I didn’t give IELTS, GRE or any exam. I just attached English Proficiency letter from my university. As all my education was outside Canada, but the medium of instruction throughout was English. I have done BS in Computer Science, two years ago. But I don’t have any work experience. I only attached 7 documents to my online application. 1) English proficiency Letter 2) BSCS Degree 3) Provisional Certificate (HSSC) 4) Provisional Certificate (university) 5) Pride of Performance Award ( grade 10) 6) IEEE Research Conference Certificate 7) BSCS & HSSC transcripts ( I visited NAIT on April 1st to submit my transcripts).
