Firstly I am very thankful for all the active member for helping resolve queries of people like me who were applicants for express entry. I recently received my PR and would like to share my experience related to submission of Work ex letters.
Everyone of us are aware that the work ex letters are to be submitted in a particular format (details) as mentioned by IRCC and needs to be either signed by company HR/boss/colleague. Out of my total work ex period, one of the companies I worked with for a period of 6 months (which is one of the leading private sector bank in India) refused to issue work ex letter covering the Role and Responsibility of my Job role. Unfortunately few colleagues with whom I was friends with were also no longer employed with the bank. So as a way out, under LOE (Letter of explanation) I mentioned my inability to submit the work ex letter as per IRCC format. Instead of the same I uploaded the following documents under Work-ex proof:-
1. Self Declaration of Job role (signed by me)
2. Relieving letter from the bank
3. Offer letter issued at the time of joining
4. Last three months salary slips.
The above docs were accepted by the immigration officer as proof of work ex and Job code.
Sharing my experience thinking it might be helpful for someone who is not able to get the work-ex letter issued from their employers.
