My experience/question .. online application

I applied for my visa on 24th July and on 28th July i was requested for original passport, which means my visa was approved on 28th July itself and i got the passport back today i.e on 2nd August. The online application was simple and hassle free, took around three hours to put documents in right manner and apply and pay the fee. I have seen people on this forum expecting visa after 20 days or so and i never expected it would be that fast, so i am very happy right now. Though i have applied the visa for first time ever and got the approval, i am wondering why most or many people apply visa manually , why dosent everyone do it online... where its fast and secure

I dont know how i got it so fast.. Maybe because i have applied for information security mgmt course and i have one certification in info security and good rank in national level cyber olympiad during my school... Also tell me when yours is approved

I applied online and i was asked to submit passport on 28th through mycic messages... That was kind of a confirmation, no other message regarding confirmation came
