Hi everyone!

I applied for my PR back in 2020 and I was supposed to hear the answer on December 11th. But unfortunatly I didn't hear the answer or anything still. Should I contact them or should I wait till I hear the answer? If I were to contact them, what's the best way?

The 'expected date' of response before the pandemic has not always been honored by IRCC. With the ongoing pandemic, the processing of applications has been further delayed. I would suggest you put a call through to IRCC customer service either by raising an enquiry via the web form or calling them directly. You can assess the web form on: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx . If your application is processed in Canada, you can get in touch with the customer service centre at (888) 242-2100. If you are outside Canada, you should use the Textnow app in order to be connected. After downloading TextNow app choose an Ontario number when you are setting up your profile then dial 888-242-2100.

Thank you so much for your reply! My application is been processed within Canada so I will give them a call tomorrow.
