My and my wife’s visitor visa to US refused in July 2016. My real sister in US invited us to her son’s wedding in US, but our visa was rejected on the ground of weak ties to India (which was not the case).
Now I am applying visitor visa to Canada. My daughter is Permanent Resident of Canada . We want to visit her.
There is a column in Canada visitor visa application about details of visa refusal of any country.
What details should I give in that ?

Please help

You must declare the US refusal. Failure to do so is misrepresentation which will result in your application being refused and a five year ban from Canada. The US and Canada share information so Canada will almost certainly discover the refusal if you fail to declare it.

Thank you for the reply.

Can you please how much detail is to be given ?
Like I told that My real sister invited us to her son’s wedding in New Jersey.
And then we applied visa for B1/B2 category and our visa got rejected.

My query is what should we write in the Canada Visitor visa application ?
Should we just write “USA visitor Visa refused in July 2016” or something else also.

Please help.

Thank you
Should I write “ USA Visitor Visa refused in July 2016 when my real sister (a US Citizen) invited us to her son’s wedding” ?

You can write one word which describes every thing.

“ Visa officer was not satisfied “
