Just a quick question. My husband who has just been granted Canadian PR is still living in the States and will be moving here soon. He has outstanding credit card debt and has been thinking about filing for bankruptcy. Would that affect his ability to become a Canadian Citizen in the future? I'd like to find out before he begins this process. thanks for the help!

This will have no bearing on the immigration or citizenship process whatsoever. In fact, when you move to Canada, you start all over again with no credit history.
