Is there a time limit as to how soon I have to move to Canada, if I get approved to be sponsored??
I'm just wondering because to me it doesn't make much sense if I have "affairs to settle" first, and I don't know how long the process for being approved could take anyway. I just worry how I can make everything work out.
I hope any of you know :/.

You must land before your visa/COPR expire. You can return to your home country to wrap things up before moving to Canada.

If you are not visa-exempt, then you will have to wait for the PR card or apply for a PRTD at your embassy in order to return.

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you mean with my visa expiring or "COPR". I'm visa exempt, yes. I usually just visit within a 6 month time limit.

I don't currently stay in Canada, but in my home country, so I'm wondering if I did get approved to be sponsored by my husband if then Canada would require I move permanently right away.

When your PR application is approved you will be given a visa/COPR that you must use to "land" (i.e. arrive) in Canada and officially become a PR. This visa will have an expiry date. You must arrive in Canada before that expiry date. You can leave immediately afterwards.
