@canuck78 @canuck2k I have had my multiple visitor Visa 10 years. I wanted to ask if it’s compulsory to stay only 6 months at maximum even though I have had my 10 year multiple visitor Visa ? Or I could stay for continuous 10 years as a visitor?

No. You cannot based on a TRV.

You need to be holding a TRP to qualify for an open work permit. You hold a TRV and don't meet the requirements to apply.

You don’t qualify for an open work permit. Technically you could stay as a visitor for 10 years if you were approved for an extension every 6 months but that won’t happen.

And no - you certainly cannot stay for 10 years continuously. You can stay for six months (or less if the CBSA officer gives you a shorter visit).
