multiple visa entry (within canada) with validity for one month only .

My friend applied for multiple visa entry within canda (Ottawa -Pilot Project) with his passport. He received multiple entry stamp today but valid for one month only ???
1) Is it because his vistor visa is valid for upto Aug 30th 2012?

Any help here ? or should he had extended is trv first and then applied for multiple visa within canda.


Could someone help me here.

Did you friend read the instructions? Only holders of Study and Work permits in Canada can apply for TRVs through C-Ott http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob426.asp

send application with passport to Ottawa on June 5th2012, received back on July 3rd 2012 with multiple entry , valid uptill July 30th 2012 . which means he can leave canada anytime now but should return in the country before July 30th 2012 :'(

EMERGENT WITHDRAW MY APPLICATION PLEASE!!! Temporary residential visa visitor

I would like to know how to withdraw (Cancel)visa application; my parents sent in their application on June 16th, 2012, still have not heard anything from the CPP-Ottawa yet. Because my parents will return to China on schedule(their return tickets have been purchased already, the date of tickets are on July 18th, 2012), we really need the passports back asap. Would anyone please let us know which is the best way for us to get the passports back quickly? their return back home to China date is quickly approaching. They would like to withdraw applciation.

I beleive u shud get it somewhere close to next week. usually it takes 30 days . Wish u best of luck dear :-X
