Multiple PR Applications

Hi All,

I have a question about creating multiple Canada PR applications.

Can I create 1) one application with my wife as Primary applicant and myself as secondary and 2) a 2nd application where I am primary and my wife is secondary applicant ? Is that allowed ?

What is the point here ? It feels counterproductive.
You can calculate your CRS points and create a profile with the highest points out of these two options. You can do so here : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
