I'll definitely appreciate any feedback and advice!

Background: Pretty straightforward Outland Spousal Sponsorship from the US - Married to Canadian citizen in Canada.
AOR1 6/14/2017 and no word since resending my Schedule A (in which I forgot a single month in 2007, haha).
In the meantime, I've been accepted into a Post-Master's program in Toronto accelerating my already short patience to move. In addition, I have a NAFTA Category A profession with a potential job offer.

1. I qualify for domestic tuition if I am "approved in principle" by November 1st. What stage of the process is that? Can I request this letter? And is November 1 a feasible deadline? It would save me over $10,000/year.
2. With a job offer and being a Category A applicant, do I qualify for the International Mobility Program - NAFTA (temporary work permit) even if I have a pending PR?
3. Should I even bother with the student visa if I am holding out for the job offer?
4. Scenario: I travel to Ontario monthly. If I get the job, I must apply for the visa at a POE. Say that I get the job while in Canada during the interview. Do I simply leave Canada and re-enter at a POE? If they deny my temporary work permit, can I still ender at that time as a visitor?

Thanks so much! I do not want to miss out on this amazing job waiting for my PR to finish.

1) AIP only applies to inland applications. It's not provided with outland applications.
2) You'll need to check the NAFTA occupation list to see if your occupation appears there. That's what will determine if you qualify under NAFTA. Your PR application won't interfere with this.
3) Up to you. Depends on whether you want to study or not.
4) If for any reason the work permit is refused, whether you're allowed into Canada as a visitor will be up to the CBSA officer you encounter at the border. Chances are - yes.

Okay what about this? What stage of an Outland app would this fall under?
Here is the current Status in Canada exemption for domestic tuition:
students who are (or who are dependents of) persons who have applied for permanent resident status may qualify for exemption if they have met all the preliminary immigration requirements for permanent resident status (i.e. have received preliminary/provisional acceptance/approval, or approval-in-principle).
