Hi Guys,

I have given IELTS exam in December 2014 and again in April 2015.

My score decreased in second exam (April 2015). Should I update my profile with new result, or keep the old one?

Any valid suggestion is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Keep the higher score in your profile. Otherwise your CRS might come down. Doesn't matter if your score has fallen, your earlier score is valid for two years.
But to improve your position in the pool, you can again try a shot at IELTS to get higher bands. Good luck

Decrease your score cause old ielts became useless when your new ielts resukt got out

Hey bindudhiman,

Can you provide a link, which justify you answer?

Thanks,

Okay, for the proof.
Little common sense, IELTS is a english testing body, nothing to do with CIC.
CIC accepts your score from IELTS, so as long as they are valid you can use any IELTS score provided it in general category.
Trust people on this forum and do it, or start finding answers by going through old posts in the ielts section without creating new threads.
good luck.
