I hold study permit expiring in 2021. My child has multiple entry visitor's visa which expires in 2021.

Does she has to get another TRV status extension before she can study in the long term without having to leave Canada after 6 months since it is still visitor's visa?

Yes - you need to keep extending her visitor status to keep her status in Canada legal and allow her to continue studying.

You can ask to have her visitor status expiry match your study permit expiry. They may do that or at least give her a longer extension than 6 months.
