You can always enter Canada without a PR card if you have your landing papers with you. The question is if the airline will allow you to fly. If you still have a valid multiple entry visa, the airline would most likely allow you to fly based on that. However, once you arrive in Canada and go through immigration, you would tell them that you are a PR and show your landing papers.
