Hello,

Im looking to get my girlfriend back to Canada. Shes had a canadian study permit and then a work permit which expired October 21st 2011. She would like to come back with a multiple entry visa because she plans on pursuing some musical aspirations in the US, our plans are to be together for a few months here and then apart and back. Ive read on the Russian Visa website that you can actually get a visa for up to 5 years, im not sure how hard that is, I imagine its not easy because I dont think any visa to Canada is.

The main reason I am posting this is because she will be coming to live with me and my family, I do not own the house nor pay for the bills but she will be staying and supported, do I need to attach documents of my fathers income and etc or should I just leave it at shes staying with me and my family and that would be sufficient information? Also, shes never over stayed here or anywhere that shes been, if you apply for a multiple entry visa for a few years how can you really say when shes leaving the country if you cant book flights ahead over a year? We do know that her initial stay will be three months then she will be back again in 4 to 5 months for another three, im just not sure how the multiple entry visa letter of invitation should be, i cant plan for things over a year in advance and with multiple entry do you have to have specific dates or is it come as you go as long as you have the visa?

Any advice would be much appreciated
