Multiple entry or TRV?

Hai,

I am in a confused situation, please help.

After getting my PGWP, i wanted to extend my multiple entry status with in Canada. When I checked in the internet I applied for this link "Apply for a new temporary resident visa from within Canada". I thought they will ask me for my passport in between the application process. But they didn't, now I got the message that my application has been approved. But I am confused how can airport authorities know that I have multiple entry if I am tavelling back to India. Or is that a wring link I have applied?

Why don't you reach them and ask for passport submission for stamping visa. Of course the only method of getting it is having stamped it on your passport.

how can I do that? how can I contact cic for that? through phone or email?

And what i did was right method or what?

What you did was right and pretty regular i.e. often people apply for trv from inside Canada and do it online.
