Hi there,

I am filling up my application for PR under EE. I have ben working for XYZ company from last 6 years. It is the only company I have ever worked for. During my time in the company, I have been deputed to work from Canada twice. Therefore, in the employment history section I have broken down my employment periods in to following parts.

Period 1 - India
Period 2 - Canada
Period 3- India
Period 4- Canada
Period 5 - India (currently working)

I have one emploter reference letter that covers all of my positions held during period 1-5.

After filling up the form, CIC portal is asking me to upload 5 employment letters. Could you anyone please suggets what should I do? I have only one reference letter.

See docs checklist here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2zS--S5BNDdVjV3LUtydy1ybGM/view?usp=sharing

Thank you.

You got 5 input fields because you mentioned the same employment 5 times. Here’s my suggestion:
Combine those 5 periods into one single 6 years period to avoid confusion. It is the same company after all, not sure as to why you broke them down by location. If you only have one letter of reference, that’s the most logical thing to do in this case. This is only my opinion.

i also had similar problem.. i am working for a company for last 4 years now.. and i took 10 months off to study and rejoined the company after completion at same position.. so in my case cic portal asked me to submit 2 letters. i uploaded my same experience letter in both (after seeking professional advice from immigration consultant). and it has been 7 months since i submitted my application cic did not ask for additional documents.. and my eligibility is passed.

In order to show my canadian work experience. Different positions help in company. Is that not how it should be?

If that's the case, then you can try to upload the same reference letter for each of the positions.

Looks like ady_997 got his eligibility passed by doing so. Good luck!
