Hi,
After reading a lot posts and replies in this thread, I am relieved that having a job experience different from academic qualification is not a problem in applying for PR. I have graduation in commerce and masters in HR management, while i have been working as a writer.
However, I am confused in the matter as I have a multi-profile writing job experience. I have job experience of over 3 years and freelance work experience of over 5 years in the field of content writing and copywriting. I have also written short film and documentary film scripts. As the NOC suggests, I fall into Authors & Writers Category which has sub categories as technical writer, copywriter and translators among many others.
I am unable to figure out which particular job experience should I show in my application. Do i need to focus on just one profile (eg. either content writer or copywriter) or I can include all of the various writing work experiences in my profile?
Also, one of the consultants suggested me to prepare my application on commerce graduation basis as he said there are more scopes in getting job in accounts profile. That leads me to another worry, if there aren't much openings in the field of my experience (i.e content/copywriting) there, will it affect my application for PR?
Can anyone please guide me here?
