I will try and simplify my question best i can. Im currently living in Montreal and I have already applied for PR (at medical exam stage) under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. I studied 4 years at Concordia and then applied for a Post graduate work permit which expires this Oct 8 2012. I also currently hold a CSQ which i understood waives off obtaining an LMO. The issue now is im currently unemployed and completing my medical exam next week and then wait for my PR (takes 3-5 months apparently). Basically I want to remain in Canada till my PR comes. I will have no legal status after Oct 8th..can anyone tell me what my options are? If im unable to find a job by then, i was told to change status from worker to visitor....can i really do that? apply for a visit visa while im living in Canada?? Plz any advice is appreciated..
