Hi. I was recently invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada. I would like to ask if do I need show money for non accompanying dependent and if do I pay his fees for application. I have my seven year old son but he cannot accompany me in Canada because of his schooling. You answer will be greatly appreciated

You only need to show funds for the people who will be in your application. If your child is not immigrating with you, you don't have to show funds for him. However, do keep in mind that if you don't include him in your immigration application, and if you decide to bring him to live with you in the future, you will need to sponsor him (do an application, etc), so he won't be able to come right away.
