Hi!
I am graduating with bachelor's degree in science from the University of Manitoba. I would like to start MPNP process under STEM conditions which means I should not wait for 6 months to apply. I have a job offer from the company related to my degree and my position is in Manitoba in demand list. Having said that, I have many questions regarding the procedure of application. I would be happy if you could help with some of those.
1. Should I wait until my post graduate work permit will be granted to me before starting application process? This takes 90 days according to recent information from Canada.ca
2. What kind of benefits does the STEM stream give to applicant? For example, it used to be if you work for 6 months and hold a valid job offer, this gives 500 points. I couldn't find anything about STEM stream, could you please clarify how many points is that?
3. I am in common law relationship with an international student who pursues Master's degree in University of Manitoba. We started living together, sharing bills etc in September 2017. Is she eligible dependent?
Thank you for your answers!
