Hello,
Has anyone gone through MPNP with international graduate stream? How long does the entire process take, if you have quite a long work permit validity left?
I graduated from Ontario (4 year degree), and I came to Manitoba for work for 8 months, and I got another job recently here. I was told that the 1 year of experience has to be from the same employer, so I have to start over again. By the time I have 1 year of experience, it will be 2018 April. I will have my work permit valid until 2019 June, and I will have my passport until 2019 Dec, which I won't be able to extend further from my home country (personal reason).
So until my work permit will expire, I have 14 months left beginning from when I will have gained 1 year of experience in my new job. Will I have enough time to become a PR in Canada?
Would it be better if I get PNP nomination, and apply for federal express entry (with 600 PNP points)? For this one, I will have to take English test, and I THINK you don't need to for MPNP, but not sure. I think my NOC will be A or B, but not C. I am good at English, but I prefer not to take it if I don't have to because that will take money and time, and probably have to study for it too right? Haven't taken IELTS General before though, but I took TOEFL a while ago, and it was pain in the butt to study for that.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
