Hi all and greetings from Hong Kong
I am going to study in a flight school in Winnipeg, Manitoba soon and looking at the MPNP because I would like to get a PR in Canada.
After I graduate from the flight school, I would be able to work using the PGWP.
1. Under the "Skilled Workers in Manitoba" stream for International Student Working Graduates, it is stated that "Only graduates of Manitoba post-secondary educational institutions are considered. You are eligible if your Manitoba employer offers you a long-term job following at least six months of continuous full-time employment on a valid post-graduation work permit."
2. Then I look into the EOI Ranking Points Grid (http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/MPNP-Expression-of-Interest-Ranking-Points-Grid.pdf)
500 points will be awarded if there is "Ongoing employment in Manitoba for 6 months or more with long-term job offer from the same employer "
3. Here is the EOI Results recently (https://www.immigratemanitoba.com/category/mpnp-notices/eoi-draw/).
Under "Skilled Workers in Manitoba", the lowest score is pretty much always lower than 500.
So does it mean that if I have worked in Manitoba for 6 months and ongoing, it is almost certain that I can get the MPNP through the Skilled Workers stream (because I can get 500 points)?
If that's the case, how long would I be able to get the MPNP once I submit the application?
Many thanks!
