Hello everyone, I just submitted an EOI application. I have a question about the EOI ranking points. There is a factor called "Adaptability" which includes the following sub-category for the Manitoba Demand program:

- Ongoing employment in Manitoba for six months or more with a long-term job offer from the same employer 500 points

However, I am unable to find where to check or submit any documents for this particular sub-category. As a result, I lost some points for it in my Preview EOI-SW.

I have asked people on Facebook, they said because I have answered "YES" to "Have you ... and have you ..." questions. The system auto-put me in the International Education Stream group. They said when I fall into this group, my scores are no longer important because they only consider whether my profession is related to my field of study or not. This stream will help draw faster than Skilled Workers. If I want to change to Skilled Worker, I must answer "NO" to that question, the system will display a question about whether I have 6 months of work experience so I can choose yes and get 500.

But when I looked at my Preview EOI-SW, my occupation is "00000 - Other" and my Ranking Points is 482. I know that my NOC is "21222 – Information Systems Specialists".

Could you please advise me on the International Education Stream and Skill Workers Stream? I have been working with the same employer for over six months. However, my work permit is expiring soon, and I am feeling worried. I would appreciate your help. Thank you!

if you are working as something related to your field of study you'd reply YES to those questions and be automatically placed in the IES draw. If you studied Science for example and is working as a Information Systems Specialists, then you'd answer no.

And yes, points don't matter in the IES stream, and your NOC will be showing as 00000

Thank you so much, I appreciate it. Now, I just have to wait for the next draw. Do I need to take any additional steps? What are the chances of me being selected? If I receive the Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA), what should I do next? Thank you for your help.
