Hi friends, this is not good :-X... again, I've got in contact with someone who got an LAA in the recent 4th draw, with "excess" 25 points due to answering YES to French proficiency. He should have not gotten the LAA ... No wonder that the lowest ranking points is not going down as what we expected. He would like to push through with the online application though he knows he cannot provide proof of French proficiency, he would take the risk ???.. Oh well, that's his choice .. Wag sana sya ma-ban in the end ... The way I see it, for as long as may nagkakamali sa pag fillup ng EOI that results to giving them additional points - we cannot see the lowest ranking points going down significantly in the next many draws.. :

Comment ko lang po sa spreadsheet na ginawa nyo po.Hindi po 5000 ang madadraw ngayon taon na ito. Bakit ko nasabi?
1. 5000 applicants ang limit na aaprubahan ng MPNP kada taon and plus 500 dun sa Express Entry. So meaning yung mga assessment complete ang nasa 5000
2. may mga pending pa applicants from 2012 to 2014 ang di pa rin naassess so mabibilang ang magiging complete na sa 5000 applicant ngayong 2015
3. kasama sa 5000 applicants ang bilang ng mga dependants. So kung may isang naarpub at lima silang lahat (asawa at 3 anak) bale yung 5000 mababawasan ng 5.

Maganda rin kasi ito mabibigyan ng pagkakataon yung mga nasa friend/distant relative lang ang connection. Sure kasi tayo na ang mga ganitong nagdeclare ng maling iskor ay marerefuse at malaking chance na maban for two years. Isipin mo ito kung yung unang draw eh 90% mali mali iskor nila at lower dun sa dineclare nila so ang result refused sila at the same mapapabilis pag assess ng applicants kasi nalagas na dun pa lang sa pre assessment stage. Kaya ang gagawin ng MPNP eh magdadraw ulit ng marami para may assess.Eh syempre yung 90% na narefuse mababan so in the end bawas ng kalaban yung mga nasa friend/distant relative kaya baba yung required points sa mga draw.

Ganito ang nakikita kung scenario once iassess na yung mga nasa draw.

3. kasama sa 5000 applicants ang bilang ng mga dependants. So kung may isang naarpub at lima silang lahat (asawa at 3 anak) bale yung 5000 mababawasan ng 5. -- Not correct. 5000 + 500 = Nominations only.

Unfortunately because express entry system is an online facility it can be abused. Nothing much we can do about that as people will attempt everything they can do and bend as much rules as they can to jump over the line. It doesn't really cost anyone anything aside from time --- but the good news is that the number of LAA does not mean guaranteed nominations. From looking at the website they have already submitted 950+ LAAs, but we do not really know how many actually passed, how many cancelled and possibly they already started banning people who refused to follow the rules.

And as far as I can see, express entry online form is a work in progress. They would probably start adding safeguards to root out abuses.

What I say --- just let them be and get them banned. They'll learn the hard way sooner or later. Better sooner.

I think the factors that are most abused/ confusing to applicants are those two (ie., points for French and for the regulated professions).

Totally agree with you on that Pinoyhopeful, dyan madalas ang maling sagot ng karamihan, sinasadya man nila or hindi. And as for the others waiting, yes our time will come eventually - but of course we cannot deny the fact that this is tantamount to time wasted for those in the waiting line. Not losing hope here because there's always hope ;D. But then , sana nga as I've also mentioned in my previous posts na maglagay ng safeguards on those areas to avoid confusion and wrong answers. It is true that they may be banned for 2 years and mababawasan ang mga ka-compete sa pool of applicants but then nakakaawa din naman sila (lalo na yung mga nakausap ko na 3 - are all Pinoys). Had they accepted the LAAs, they will probably be banned for not being able to support all their claims (French language proficiency) in the online application proper. Imagine saving 3 fellow pinoy hopefuls just by advising them of what they have done wrong in the EOI? Perhaps we are here to help, right? Forums like this one exist to help provide valuable info for aspiring applicants .. Kung pwede nga lang mag- announce tayo dito sa forum on this common mistakes so existing applicants in the EOI pool can revisit their applications and probably edit their answers - which results to their scores getting lower, but making others have the edge this time due to the corrections. This does not apply though dun sa mga may katigasan ang ulo at ang gusto ay makakuha agad ng LAA kahit alam na di mapaninindigan in the end
