MPNP and bridge open work permit

I have applied to PR in Dec2013 under MPNP and received my AOR and medical request on Feb7th 2014 .My current PG permit will expire in Aug 2014.I will become eligible to apply for Bridge open permit in April.Do I need Job letter to apply for Bridge permit? or can I just apply as I have AOR,PG workpermit expiring within 4months and currently in canada.Please let me know whether employment verification is required?
