Even I am debating Vancouver vs Montreal ! Whats the average 1bhk rent in suburbs in Vancouver vs Montreal ? Would prefer areas where usually indians prefer staying

Do you speak French? What sector do do you work in. Unless you work in IT moving to Montreal will be tough without French.

Montreal: 1000$

Vancouver: 1800$

Apartments rarely work like this in Canada. 1 bedroom is a bedroom, living room and kitchen. There is often room for a table in the kitchen or living room. In larger units there could be a dining room but that is pretty rare in 1 bedroom units.

Condo... 1 bedroom is a bedroom, open kitchen plus living room. Larger units there could be dining room and/or deck/balcony, storage lockers and parking stall.

Not all condos have open kitchens. Was commenting on the fact that 1BHK is not how things work in Canada there are living rooms.
