Hi all,

My spouse will be landing in Ontario in a few weeks and the topic of driving came up. She does have an international driving permit (60 days max driving allowed in Ont.) but i was reading on the website that in order to get the 12 months waiting time waived as a learner you need to get an authentic document from the embassy of the country they came from. Has anyone had any luck from the embassy in Trinidad?? I mean they have a hard time doing regular Visa stuff, much more signed letters of driving experience.....

thanks in advance

razz, i dont have an answer for your question but can you share your time line with us for your pr application? i have mine in progress and would like to have an idea.

another option is that you write the embassy via email and find out. i have done so on many times for guidance on a few things and they have actually replied in a timely manner (less than a week).
