Moving to Canada

Hi

I am planning to move to Canada. But facing issues with marks ( got 1 mark less than 67 required). But having a job offer on hand will improve my chances considerably. Is it possible to get Finance/Accounts payable/Accounting related jobs while still we are outside Canada. Any suggestions are welcome.

it depends on where you live, if you are from USA , UK you can get a job offer letter a bit easily than people get in India , Pakistan middle east etc. What about IELTS re-take, If you can improve your score i believe you will get the 1 mark.

Having just a job offer doesn't help. You also need an approved LMIA from your employer. Does your employer have an approved LMIA?

If you don't yet have a job offer and LMIA from an employer then you should assume it will be extremely difficult to secure one in the finance field since there are plenty of qualified Canadians available for these roles.
