ALL,

I am moving to canada in work permit. I like to know the process before cross the border for smooth travel.

Non of my friends are there, so When cross is it mandatory to provide address of stay ?

I am bringing the house hold item in a truck , where should I give the list of Item then I am bringing. Is there any form in Online so that I can prepare it in advance.

I bringing 2 cars, When I called the border service, they said its OK if get the NOC from bank ,so that I can take the car , though I have payments on it. Did any do this , what other document needed for the car.

Also Should I register the car in Canada , or I can have USA registration and drive for an Year. If I need to register what I need.

Can I book or block the apartment, before I enter to Canada ? Also Is there any apartment with washer/dryer in with in the unit ?

My move is with in 3 -4 weeks.

Thanks in advance for the please help.

Thanks for the reply.

It seems I don't need to import my cars. I can just drive in , as I am going to be there in Work Permit as temporar

Do I need to inform U.S.A border force before I cross the border via Road ?
