Apologies for the laundry list. We've done some research but are looking for some feedback from people who might have some experience in these matters. We're planning our move to Canada a year from now (I'm a Citizen, my wife has her PR card and we've landed). Some questions have begun to come up:
1. If were brining an infant with us, how long before they're covered under health care and what should we do in the meanwhile..? We know we won't be eligible for the first 3 months...
2. If we have pets coming with us (we're arriving by land), should we be expecting a long quarantine period..?
3. Brining out vehicle across the border. If we own it, I don't see an issue, we just need to register it in Canada. But what if we're leasing..? Anyone have any experience with which of the two might be preferred/easier..?
4. Brining over the rest of our belongings. Do we just need a list/record of all our belongings with us? Do they need approximate values listed..? How detailed does the list need to be..?
Thank you!
