Hi everyone,
My spouse and I have been granted an Intra-company Transfer work permit and an open work permit, respectively. We will be moving to Canada on these permits in January.
We also entered into the pool for express entry, and just received an invitation to apply for PR. We have all of our documents ready to submit.
My question is: We currently live in the UK. If we submit our application for PR while living here, but move to Canada before the PR is granted, what will we need to do to change our information?
Should we:
1. Decline the invitation and wait until we are already living in Canada to be invited again and then submit our application from in-country.
2. Decline the invitation and resubmit an application to enter the pool stating that we are applying from Canada as well.
3. Apply for PR, and change our country of residence and address after our move.
Finally, if it is okay to submit the application now from the UK, and change our country/address after moving to Canada, who do we contact to make that change?
I appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance.
