Not sure if we already have a thread on this but starting this to see if someone is/was in similar situation as mine now.
Little background: Been in US from past 8 yrs now. GC started with PD of 2012. My and wife both are working in IT industry in NY location. We have a 2 yr old daughter (US citizen).
Have a primary home in New Jersey and few investment properties all over US.
Whats going on: As anyone else, Me and my wife both are fed up with uncertain future of when we will get our GC. Our PR is approved and we will make a soft landing in canada next year mid for our PR card.
Can anyone have any experience in how they handled their primary/investment properties when moving over to Canada? We will be selling our primary residence and will take proceeds to buy residence in Canada. We are thinking of keeping our investment properties in US as it is but not sure if there are better ways to handle this
