Friends / Kind Seniors,

We may move from US to canada this december to Fort St John North BC where its extreme cold weather. I am looking for cheap winter clothes, Should I buy extreme cold clothes from USA or should I buy from Canada ?

It really depends where you live in the US. If you currently live in a state with weather as cold as BC - then by all means go ahead and stock up now. If not, wait until you get to BC so that you can make sure what you buy is actually warm enough. I know you're looking for cheap - but I would highly recommend investing in a warm / good winter jacket (like a North Face coat).

Thanks a lot for ur reply..nope we are staying in California, so I will have to get atleast few by the time we arrive in BC, becuase initially I may nt be able to go around and shop in december. By cheap I mean economical yet quality..not specific on brand, style..jst something on my budget make me warm for the extreme change of weather..

so thinking whether just few for initial days here in burlignton coat factory or wait if its expensive in Canada, I ll buy all here itslef..

@ luckyboy

Just to let you know Canadians like myself also go shopping at Burlington coat factory south of the border!

US is normally less expensive, everything, not just clothes.

Buy in the US they will have stores that can cater to your needs tell them your moving to alaska and they can help.
