I took 2 years program of software support in Mohawk College from India. However, one friend from Manitoba suggested to come to Manitoba for easy PR. Hence, I changed program from Software Support to 1 Year certificate in Office Administration and applied for another year in Manitoba. However I am wait-listed in Manitoba, I got admission offer from Saskatchewan. Now as I see my Study Permit, field of study states: ANY DESIGNATED POST SECONDARY INSTITUTION. However, Institute name states: DESIGNATED LEARNING INST-ON. This"-ON" is my problem. Does that mean I have to reapply for study permit in SK as my permit might be valid for ON only? Also, will I be able to get 3 years work permit?

Please Give your suggestions.

So you already completed 2 year program so if still within the 90 day application window you could already get a 3 year PGWP and work anywhere including Manitoba yet you want to spend another year of international fees on what sounds like a less than usefull additional skill.

Just asking given the Canadian work experience is possibly more useful towards PR than another year of education and fees if you can already qualify for a 3 year PGWP.

As for PGWP see section here about work permit issuance and validity and 2 separate courses http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/students/post-grad.asp

Actually, As I mentioned above, I got visa for 2 years. But I changed my program from 2 year software support to 1 year Office Administration. Hence I have completed only 1 year program. and I have 1 year study permit left.

I am not doing 3rd year. I am going to do 2nd year in Saskatchewan. For more clarification read the very first question. Thank you. @Bs65
