Hi,

I am currently in the US on a F1 visa(I have been on a H1 for 6 years prior to this). I am planning to file for a PNP PR application. After filinf if I move out of the US for whatever reason will that affect my application processing, in terms of eligibility and processing time?

thanks in advance!

Moving out will not affect your nomination. Nomination is based on your qualifications and not your address. if you move before you are nominated, update your address with the PNP program and when they nominate you they will ask you to submit your federal application to the Canadian High Commission in that country.

First of all, check if you can apply for a PNP while still on a student visa. (The criteria might also depend on which province you are applying for).
Secondly, some provinces like Alberta, will require you to be on your H1B and be in the US till you receive your nomination, if you apply in the US. The normally ask for document verification right before nomination (which would include, current status, recent pay stubs etc).
A better idea would be to check if you can apply for your PNP from your home country (or the country you're moving to). Which country are you planning to move to?
Also, for your information, Alberta has suspended taking applications for the H1B program, for the time being.
