hi guys,im moving in Toronto this month...aside from changing address in MSP,banks, driver's license and canda revenue..what else do I need to change? thank you so much if someone can answer my question. uhmm...im already a permanent resident.
You don't change MSP until you have lived in BC 2 or 3 months.
You should do mail-forwarding with Canada Post for 6 months.
Make sure you cancel all local cellphone/hydro/internet/tv services.
Keep all receipts from your move, because if your move is to find a new job, you will be able to write-off 100% of moving expenses, including hotel stays, gas, and 3 meals a day for up to 2 weeks (if it takes you that long to find a place to stay).
