Move to Quebec COPR issued for Ontario

Hello All,

I received COPR late last year and will be landing this summer in Toronto. My wife is Canadian so my PR is family class. Although we originally planned to live and work in Toronto, we are considering looking at other cities like Montreal.

Once I have "landed" in Toronto, what would the process be for me to be able to then live and work in Montreal or another city in Quebec? I assume for my wife there would be no restriction as she is Canadian.

There are no process. Either drive to Montreal or take a train, greyhound bus or plane to get there.

Canadian Citizens and PRs have full mobility rights within Canada so once landed sure got to Montreal. Depending on your job though there may be a requirement for registration with the relevant organization e.g. Professional Engineers Ontario if you want to practice in the profession in Ontario. Congrats on your PR and all the best in Canada.
