Move to Other Provinces Marriage Breakdown

Hi everyone, I just want to ask some help regarding moving to another provinces.

We had a marriage breakdown for so long, live in different house.

We have 1 child 15yrs old lived with her mom in montreal.

My question is, I want to move to Alberta but some of my friends telling me that Its not good for my ex wife who’s sponsored me. that ai need to wait for 10 yrs and lived in Quebec befoer I move to Alberta.

I assume you were spousal sponsorship? If so, then you can move to any province you like at any time.
